Kiddos Making Art to Make a Difference!

Kiddo Life is a socially conscious company that empowers children to share their creativity and messages through art and partake in charitable giving. You might be surprised how much they see about what's going on around them, yet don't have the language to express. Art opens those channels of communication.

Kiddo Life is dedicated to working with kids, families, and organizations to inspire communication and personalization through art, turn that art into apparel and accessories and share that message with the world. The best part: 35% of the purchase price goes directly to one of their partner charities.

How Does it Work?

Each time a child submits a piece of art, it is turned into an art t-shirt, clothing or accessory for them to wear. 35% of the purchase price is donated to charity. Anytime someone in the world orders a shirt using the same art work, 35% is again donated.

Children can share their favourite art piece, or they can share their message and know through this creation and purchase how they are helping others.

Step 1

Select your favourite works of art and upload it to our their site and use it to create your 'One of a Kind Art Shirt.

Step 2

Select the correct t-shirt style, upload your kiddo's masterpiece and size it to the shirt. Add text if you desire!

If you want design help, or would like your image corrected, they will be more than happy to help! 

Step 3

Select the charitable group you wish to donate to when you order your t-shirt... for you and your parents (or group). You will receive your shirt within just a few days! 

Must importantly, the charities they work with serve our very own Calgary! So, what are you waiting for...

Nespresso launches Red Bag capsule recycling solution with Canada Post

Nespresso Canada makes recycling its aluminum capsules even easier with the launch of a free and innovative return option for Canadians. In partnership with Canada Post consumers living in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, all of the territories and all of Atlantic Canada will be able to recycle their used aluminum Nespresso capsules by simply sending them back through the mail, at no additional cost.

From now on, Nespresso customers living in the designated Canadian provinces and territories can simply put their used aluminum capsules in a fully recyclable Red Bag provided by Nespresso Canada and drop off the sealed capsule-filled bag at a Canada Post outlet or in a red Canada Post mailbox, at no extra cost.

From now on, customers can simply place their used Nespresso aluminum capsules in a fully recyclable Red Bag provided for free by Nespresso Canada when coffee capsules are purchased. Then they just drop off the sealed capsule-filled bag at a Canada Post outlet or in a red Canada Post mailbox, at no extra cost.

The newly renovated Shawnessy location is up and running with this new concept. The grand opening is on Saturday, March 17 from 10am to 10pm. #12DaysOfYeah - Day 12

Day 12 is here... DAY 12 IS HERE!

Wow. I can't believe 12 days have gone by. I decided to start doing my 12 days of yeah giveaways, and I didn't know what to expect. I wasn't sure about the result that this was going to have. And it goes beyond clicks, post reach, page visitors... Today I continue to realize that making people happy makes me happy. After this first ever #12DaysOfYeah giveaway, I'm excited to see what places I get to visit on 2017 and what places I'll be setting-up giveaways to for the next holiday season.
